Oasis - Definitely Maybe
There are no real images over this DVD cover but there is two cartoon/painted images of the band, it is a creative image that is difficult to understand, they are wearing their ordinary clothes in both images its almost capturing them in the moment, doing what they normally do for example one of them is sat at the back watching telly.
This DVD is more narrative than performance because it was release as a tenth anniversary of the song definitely maybe showing a documentary about the album and interviews. It also had a bit performance because on the second disc there was the definitely maybe album.
For the mise-en-scene the room is like a real living room because of the props, everything in the room, the fire place, the sofa, the painting, the wine glasses and telly are all props that help make the image. Although the image has been painted it looks like it has been edited so it has a greeny yellow tint to it. On the front cover there is the ‘Oasis’ logo which is a signature thing for the band as it is also used on CD’s and posters, the title of the DVD is also in the front cover is the title which is white, this creates a colour scheme of black and white for the cover.
